Yes, but note, it has to be uploaded into the MODULES language folder:

-root/
-root/module/
-root/module/news/
-root/module/news/language/

last location is where your lang folder should be uploaded!

Hope this helps....

Looking good!

Just two minor ideas:

- menu bar: left of home needs a border line
- exchange bulit point in block heading, with a "steering wheel" (-> sorry, I know NOTHING about those water vehicles )

Good Luck and all the best for your community!

Hmmm, just thought of something else regarding the logo:

- give it a water like background (or something with more colour), and use it as background image, so that large screen don't have that big white background (currently only looks good using 800x600)

BTW: like how you given those 'important' blocks a red background - does the job!

Ooops, one more: your shortcut icon(MS-Terminology: favicon)...search this site for info, I've posted a couple of times on this subject!

Go over to dev.xoops.org, become a member, and repost...you will have a better chance of reaching the right people....besides, we need more people like you, motivated to contribute!

Also, search for and take a look at the NoAH module (fatman is looking for fellow dev's to work with him - no insult intended from skinny me, that's just the name he has chosen ), might be of interest to ya...

Hope this helps....

In the end it all comes down to personal preference!

Personaly: I wouldn't touch Dreamweaver with a 10foot pol!

May I mention my favourite editor HTML kit, as noticed amongst those working on the Theme Forge, a very popular tool amongst theme designers

By the way, the (future) XOOPS Theme Forge will have a special section, looking at the multitude of editors, and other tools....so get excited (though it will still take a little while...but a couple of people are working hard on it; anyone who would like to contribute, contact me!)

No, besides, WYSIWYG is a VERY bad idea for working with themes.

You need to change the permissions, for ano to be able to access the module, then you will get the blocks.

Sys Admin -> Groups

I agree with brash.

I once ran into a similar issue. The problem is, the smarty variable needs to be assigned a value, which is usally done by a php-script.

With the user menu, this is done by the system module.

Meaning, you would have to write a little php code, that queries the DB, or somehow add what you want to do, as block of the system module (e.g. change one of the system blocks, to display what you want).

Someone correct me...please

@brash: I believe we think too much , if ya catch my drift

The idiot that keeps replying.

Let me mention: it's a LOT of work, and for someone learning (and taking on more than he has time), something quite challenging. So don't expect anything soon (not from me anyway!)
