I like the fact to work on extgallery and keeping the work done by voltan !

About the folder structure, i'm not a developper and do not see the advantage of xml file... But i looked in PIWIGO gallery i'm testing for 2 monthes, having also a folder structure, and didn't see any xml files on folders (only pwg_high and thumbnail folders)

If you are interested in having a look to an existing PIWIGO gallery, to see how it works and maybe get some ideas, please let me know and i will give you access to mine !

Regards

Hi redheadedrod,

I'm agree that there is a lot of hope with extgallery module, after all the new updates we saw from voltan work!

But i'm scare what i'm asking would change the basis of the module and so that would be rejected... after all the recent work, i would understand that!

By the way, the 2 points you show are the 2 points i'm also asking for :
=> having albums in separate folder in ftp (not only on db) - that would simplify a saving copy (in case of crash...) on our hard drive
=> simplify the upload method (the java appli doesn't work fine for me - lot of bug, moreover if i want to keep original photo in big size...)

Have you an idea of deadlines for your projects ?
Do you know PIWIGO (nice structure ideas for inspiration...) ?
How could i help you ?

Please let me know about it ;)

Regards,

Francois

Hi everyone,

I'm now using extgallery and TDMPicture, two nice modules, but still far away from Piwigo gallery to my mind.

I really appreciate the fact to keep album structure in FTP and manage my db with just one "synchronization" click !

I would like to use it in xoops so i could manage user rights on it...

I think i could get a budget from my association to develop the integration or to develop extgallery/TDMPicture so these modules could manage synchronization....

Are some developers interested by such project and able to determined the cost ?

Are other interested user that would like to join me on this project ?

Kindly regards

I also would be happy to get more information about multisite!

I already tried manytimes this module, but without success. I would be happy to see a website where it's working!

I saw that Xoops 3 would maybe include it in the core... ? Would be great to simplify the installation of such module!

Tks Trabis,

OGR3 looks interesting, but that would make my visitor get out of my site...

Sorry, I think my previous posts were not well described... i'm missing some vocabulary in english to explain it !

That i would like is, by clicking on a tag, be directed to my website search engine with the tag clicked used as keyword for the search...

Regards

Yes, i would use it on my site with the "search engine" (as a shorter for research)

In fact we don't even know technorati in France...

"Xplorer" : a module to be updated !

Hi all,

Just discovered an old module : xplorer

It allows to explore a file (like uploads/xplorer/), and also to easily manage it (upload, download, ...)

The module is really simple to use... and usefull !

But maybe a little update/refresh could be nice and make it come in the "blue move" :)

The module is working but i saw some defects, like encoding problem in language. I changed é with the corresponding utf8 code, but i still get pb... maybe it's written directly in the code...

Could be nice if a developper get a quick overview on this module...

Kindly regards
