Seems that XSAS does not work with the family version of Windows XP. Would only work with the Pro version. Could someone confirm or deny this please ?

Thanks !

Anyone has an idea on this ? My friend has the same problem. It seems as Apache is not started. When you go in Task Manager, you can clearly see that apache.exe is not started.

The environment is Windows XP Familly SP1. No Firewall.

Any advise ?

Thanks !

Hello fellow Xoopsers !

I would need your help with this one. I have a project of building a module that would allow easy creation of evolved tutorials. Each tutorials would have videos clips, with text displaying on the side of the video, with images, sound, etc... Everything managed by a cool admin interface.

I'm currently in the process of elaborating the concept. There is surely a couple of applications that already exists that may have similar functionnalities. Anyone out there who may know such applications ?

Could you give me example ?

Thanks for any help !

The SmartForm module will do this. However, it is still under developpement. But you can post there other feature requests if you have some.

Cheers!

Hi reynaldom try this code :
Global $xoopsModule;
$moduleName $xoopsModule->getVar('name');
$dirName $xoopsModule->getVar('dirname');

The $moduleName variable now holds the name of the module, ie the name defined in System Admin > Modules for the specific module where the user is currently in.

The $dirname variable holds the name of the folder of the module, ie in www.yoursite.com/modules/$moduleName

Hope it helps !

Cheers !

Hi svaha

I currently don't have time to test newbb2 and look in the code to find where is the code that produces those not translated strings. However, if you could do that part and point me where it is in the code, I would be able to fix it really quickly. And I think a lot of xoopsers will soon ask for the ML hack of newbb2 so, why not do it now !

Let me know !

Hi svaha !

I don't understand because I thought that : getvar : automatically leads to the textsanitizer and it would be filtered to display the proper language.

Actually, it depends of the type of the property.

I've changed kernel/object.php to fix this problem. I did not fully tested it thought. You can download it here : object_hack_ml.zip

Could you test this and let me know if it works ?

Thanks !

First Option to move a Post to the news or smartfaq is on the ToDo for the 2.1 Version of Newbb2.

Cool ! I was planning on implementing a similar function directly in SmartFAq. But I guess it makes more sens to do it in NewBB.

Thanks Predator !
