Ok.. I took your advice and uninstalled xdirectory and installed the mxdirectory. Now I get a white page when linking to it from the home page. <SHRUG>
What did I do wrong?
Does someone have a good link to the download?

thank you,
Amy

Hi again,

Come to find out that the email does not work in this module.
Instead of coming to an email page, I get a blank page. the map works great but not the email. The contact module works fine with emails. So I do not think that its how the email is set up.

Any ideas?

thanks again,
Amy

Hello.
I have xoop 2.5.1 installed on a freebsd server.
I am trying to use the Xdirectory (Yellow Pages) to list Businesses.
I can not add businesses or do anything for that matter.
From the website I can go into the module and put information in, but there is nothing in the Admin Panel showing that there is a listing added. I can not even get in to add categories.
I looked over the module information online here and could not find anything to help me. I thought maybe I needed to do a chmod on a directory somewhere but to no avail.
Please help me here.

thank you,
Amy

Can someone point me in the right direction on how to add a module to a block? I am using xoops-2.5.1 and I want to add shoutbox to my left menu bar.

thank you,
Amy

Just to let you know... I used a backend to get into the control panel. I have a free search on the page, and when you do a search the old page info is there.. I logged in from there and changed it back to everyone.

thanks anyways,
Amy

Hello Team,

I did something stupid today. I wanted to block user registration, so what I did was block the login screen from anyone but Webmasters. Well of course when I logged out I could not see the login anymore. I did see a post about someone who closed their site but did not find anything about the login block being invisible. I went into phpmyadmin and looked in the config file to find the right thing to set but I do not find anything there. Please help I can not log in to my admin control panel anymore.

thank you,
Amy

running xoops-2.4.3
freebsd, apache, mysql, php4, (if any of this helps)

If I do that can I use the backup sql file to insert data. Or do I have to start over again????

Ok I installed version 2.5.1a and it installed perfectly. Now my question is can I use the backup.sql file from version 2.4.3 on this version?
