how to add module to a block?

Can someone point me in the right direction on how to add a module to a block? I am using xoops-2.5.1 and I want to add shoutbox to my left menu bar.

Hi Amy,

Is this shoutbox the module? If so you will have to install the module, then when you goto blocks select it so it displays all the none visible ones and then make the shoutbox block visible and then place it where you need it with drag and drop.
