I have a Sothink dhtml menu that I've made and I want to put it in a block. The html must be in the same folder as all the .js files and images, so i figured using a php include to include a seperate html file located in a folder with all the other files might work. It hasn't however, and it's just a blank block. what code can I put in the custom block to make it work?

well I just realized that the image gallery main page is blank too.http://www.bhsitalytrip.org/modules/xoopsgallery/

so that and the check_netpbm.php is blank. I looked at my ftp and all the files are there. What's going on?

this is 2.0.2 RC so it could have something to do w/ that?

I am having trouble with netpbm for gallery. I don't have access on ftp to any directories above my home directory, so I just uploaded netpbm to a regular directory on my site, and I THINK I have the path right. However, when I run check_netpbm.php i get a blank screen. actually when i go to the php file directly it redirects me to the gallery page in the admin panel, and when I click check netpbm from there it brings me tohttp://www.bhsitalytrip.org/modules/xoopsgallery/admin/index.php?op=check_netpbm which is a blank page. so:

1) how do I verify the path of the directory I uploaded to
2) why can't I check it right?

I posted this in the gallery's website too, just hoping for a higher chance of quick responses.

I have just completed a fresh install of the newest xoops. I have installed XOOPS countless times for countless different website. It took FOREVER to upload this time, and I think there might have been a problem uploading the files. Everything went perfectly in the installation, and the admin panel is fine too, but the homepage is aaaaall weird when I have it at any theme other then default, check it out:http://www.bhsimprov.com

Anyone know what the problem could be? Is there anything I can do that doesn't involve uploading everything all over again?

No, it's not a firewall issue. other visitors are having the same problem. No one can post.

there's something horribly wrong with my newbb. When I submit a post, I get the following error message:

Quote:
Insert post error:INSERT INTO tech_bb_posts ( post_id, pid, topic_id, forum_id, post_time, uid, poster_ip, poster_name, subject, dohtml, dosmiley, doxcode, doimage, dobr, icon, attachsig, attachment, approved, post_karma, require_reply) VALUES (0, 0, 5, 4, 1102887992, 1, -670076076, '', 'test', 0, 1, 1, 1, 1, '', 0, '', 1, 0, 0)

above my website. Then in the content area of the site, "Could not insert forum post" with a pink background is displayed.

I have no idea what is going on. Please help!

It works ok (and looks slightly weird) when I have the sev_dravid theme with the default template set, but when I use the sev_dravid template set it looks like this:http://www.freetechguide.com/modules/newbb/

help!

I am starting a new website which will be a guide to other websites in a given category (free stuff sites). I want to have some type of way to show an overview of each site, but I also want members to be able to rate and review the site. Actually, I'd like it to be like how products on amazon.com are displayed: the product information, then average user rating, then reviews. In essence, each Free Stuff website on my site will be like a product. What module is best suited for this? It would ultimately be a link to the site, so that brings up MyLinks. However the rating and review system is in place well in WF-Downloads. In WF-Sections you can rate the article, and post comments, not reviews. I haven't checked out any of the 3 review modules either. My goal here is to showcase websites the same way Amazon showcases products like athttp://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00005JLEX/ref=pd_ts_3/102-5029492-5656945?v=glance&s=dvd
