Hi there,

I am one active user of xoops, but i use only existing and some litle changed modules.

I Wold like to enter into one deep level of developmant, but i cannot find very documentation or info. For example "http://devteam.xoops.org/" is down.

Where can i find a list of options for here:
$modversion['xxxxxx']....
All the already available core 'functions', 'variavels' or 'classes' ?

If i needed to show the actual loged user email or name or ID? , is there any already active variavel or function that i can use instead of havind to make sql independent querys??

Thanks for the help in advance! XOOPS is Great!!

Upgrading from 2.2.6 to 2.3 Themes Changes??

Hi there.

I have severall websites using XOOPS version 2.2.6 and all works OK.

If i try to upgrade to version 2.3x, the theme gets all altered, just like If there was no CSS file... For example: The main menu, instead of having one menu option per line, it shows all the menu options appear joined, separated by one simple space, note in one independent line. How do i solve this?

Could someone explain to me the changes i must do to get the themes working OK in the new versions?

Regards!

Hi.
I also use XOOPS for some works i do. You will have some dificculties starting, you must understand the modules functionality and some times, depending of wat you want to do, the modules you need, to to guet the best functionality XOOPS vs Modules you have to choose diferent XOOPS versions. With installing\re-installing\testing you will get there.

Has for templates, you may download hundreds of themes, and of course with a litle study, you will learn to change and join ideas you get from here and there.

Believe me, XOOPS is great and very cheap, becouse you dont loose many time working to do greate, diferent and professional looking things.

You may start to regiter one domain in one cheep hosting that has many funcionalities, i use www.bluehost.com and i am very happy. I have now about 28 XOOPS websites related... and some very active!!

Success to you!!

Regards. (Sorry my inglish)

Hi there,

I need to create one new website and i need to be able to allow 3 diferent languages.
Witch is the best solution in XOOPS to enable this?
The idea is:
- The index should identify the country, and by so, showing XOOPS in the user language;
- Witch XOOPS Version Recomended for This?
- This option should also change the language in the modules;

I could install several XOOPS instalations, one for eatch language, but it is to silly..

Sugestions?

Regards and sorry my Inglish....

Hi,

I wold like to see one XOOPS project i installed fully functional inside one frame of one of my sites.
To teste i placed one frame index whith one very small top frame, and one realy big body frame that has the XOOPS page.
The idea is to be able to see the XOOPS page in almost the hole screen, inside the big Frame.

PROBLEM:

Has Anonimous site visitor, i can see everething (in the anonimous access level... )But i cannot register or LogIn in this frame pages. It guives one messege:
"Invalid Token or Token Session"

How Can i do to Solve this?? Is it impossible to use Frames like this?
