Hi all,

In XOOPS Editor, when I create content that is split over two sections (e.g. News Module) and I use HTML in the second section it does not display properly on the page.

This is a major problem when you use HTML tables in the second content section. It displays all content properly then a HUGE gap and then the table at the bottom.

Is there anyway to stop it from displaying this huge gap?

WF-Channel all versions - Blank Page

If I click on 'Create Page' button in administration or if I click 'WF-Channel' on the site and then click 'Modify' on the blank page I get an administration page which says:

"Edit Mode: You can edit this pages properties here. Click the submit button to make your changes permanent or click Cancel to return you were you where."

However there are no buttons (no submit or cancel) or options to create a page, it is completely blank. The admin index page says:

"WARNING: No Default page set, please select one
Total Number of Pages: 0
Total Refer Emails Sent: 0"

HOW do you select one?

I have uplodaed a file which you can only see in the Upload "Select HTML Document:" drop down menu.

AM I missing something here or is there a major problem? I do not know how to create a page or get started.

Please help?

I'm using XOOPS 2.0.18.1 / I have tried both WF-channel versions / I have WF-Resource installed

Hi all,

I am using the xhelp ticket logging module with over 50000 tickets and a lot of data.

Can anybody suggest any way to increase performance and download speed as its becomming a little too slow to use.

I have seen the new post for php speedy. Has anyone used this for this module? (http://aciddrop.com/php-speedy/)

Otherwise are there any other tips specifically for this module?

Hi all,

I havn't been able to find the answer to this anywhere, I'm surprised this question does not come up more often.

Is there a way to allow users to change (choose) a theme by use of image buttons? This is instead of the standard scroll menu that the Admin »» Preferences »» General Settings »» "selectable themes" option gives you.

Can anyone tell me the code which is used to change the theme (from a user clickin a theme in the list) so that I can apply it to a <a href...> image link?

I think it would be more aesthetically pleasing to use customisable buttons, is this possible?

Hi all,

I'm sure I have seen this somewhere but just cant find anything solid searching.

What is the best method now to embed Youtube video's into xoops? Hosted and stored on youtube, played on your site.

Any suggestion appreciated....

Thanks for that, How about restoring the data using phpmyadmin?

I have downloaded and tested the Backup module 'XOOPS DB Backup & Restore 3.0' to XOOPS 2.0.16.

1) Downloading to server did not seem to do anything
2) Clicking restore shows an empty drop down box - I dont think it works?

Anyone had any experience with this and/or can shed light?

Also, taken a look and I like your site. I have a couple of questions you may be able to asnwer.....

1) Does the scratchy theme comply with (from the above checklist link)...

"(c) Web pages shall be designed so that all information conveyed with color is also available without color, for example from context or markup."

2) Is your top right "No Style" link easy to incorporate into an existing theme? Do you believe it complies better than the scratchy theme?

Appreciate any thoughts,
