xcGallery - question

Well, gotta admit xcGal is one of the best XOOPS modules i have ever seen... but i came accross 1 disapointment..

registered users CANT create albums in any of the categories... they can only create album in their personal gallery... unless they have GALLERY ADMIN MODE, wich is out of the question ofcourse...

well i figured it out how to fix that... in.. albmgr.php and in modifyalb.php just have to get rid of the GALLERY ADMIN MODE statement wich disables users with no module admin rights to create albums in categories..

but i am not sure.. and i dont make it right i guess...

can anyq help here ?

ok guys... i have a software, wich is kinda You Tube. Actiolly it IS YouTube clone... it has /video/groups/friens/favorites/

Video requires a specific things added to your server (ffmpeg, mencoder) if you are on linux/unix server that means that you nead root access so to install those. If you dont have - viodeo is out of question.

BUT... what about the rest of the clone. ( i have full root and i managed to make video converting to work.)

Are there any programers who would participate in a project
whose purpose is to strip this YouTube clone and integrate is in XOOPS ?

reply if YES... if we manage to get enough ppl, we will start a project in dev.xoops.org

You mean THIS IS XOOPS Groups module grom the kickassAMD.com ?!?!?!? i am so disapointed

Well ... i guess i'd better forget of having groups in my website... where users can create Groops... like "Reservoir Dogsa Fans" group :P

I would like to use MP manager, and some other opinion from really involved XOOPS users (regarding the MP manager code), like Moderators or Developers - would be very very usefull... 10x....

P.S. the module is cool, and very usefull though... hope i hear good thing about the coding...
