To be honest I have had trouble finding it too. If I find it I will post it.

Here is how to fix this. It is in the User Guide as phppp so kindly pointed out on xoopsforg.org

Rename plugin.dist.php to plugin.php

It is located in your newbb module directory under install.

I just moved my forums from phpBB2 2.0.21 to CBB 3.05 I have to say I am stuned it went so easily.

Here is how I did it:
1. Go herehttp://romanais.info/forums/frxoops/topic_id14026-forum5/phpbb2cbb.txt
2. Copy this text and name it anything.php
3. Put it in your root directory
4. Surf to it
5. Enter your host/username/password/db information
6. Run the script
7. Done

If you want to read posts about this script from the author and get an additional script to help put your smilies in place (they will be gone in CBB after this) the put the following url into goolge and translate it (unless you read French):http://www.frxoops.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?viewmode=flat&topic_id=14026&forum=5

It worked beautifully for me.

If you read a post or try to mark it as read it will always stay as unread. Can anyone help.

This is where you will find a phpbb2 2.0.20 to cbb 3.04rc converter. It is in written in French but if you cut paste the url into Google and hit translate it is readable.

http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=fr&u=http://www.frxoops.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php%3Fviewmode%3Dflat%26topic_id%3D14026%26forum%3D5

I will be trying this soon. Wish we had a more official way.

They do appear to be the same. I will try this. After a backup of course. I will uplaod the existing db to the directory where the XOOPS MW module created a db when I installed it initially. Then delete the ones it made and rename the ones I just put in there.

Thanks for the suggestion.

I have a current Mediawiki installation that I would like to use in my MW module. Both are 1.6.7. How can I migrate my current MW to my new XOOPS MW module?

I have full access to the server. Both are hosted on the same server in fact.

I looked through mediawiki.org and tried a few things but it would seem there is more than meets the eye in doing this.

I brought this up on another thread just this week. It would make life increadibly easier for the end user. I know it is a little ways off. But to impliment such a system would be great!

Is there a way to use the forum pdf function to generate a pdf of the entire forum and not just the post?

I am interested also in being able to take a forum thread and a blog post and generate a pdf of the two. Can anyone suggest a way to do this?

What would be ideal is a user being able to put a link to a new blog post in a forum thread. Then when one makes a pdf of the thread the blog post would be inserted at the link in the forum thread.
