I reloaded the backup of my Database and mainfile.php and the site started to work again :) - Then I broke it when changing mainpile security properties, and cannot get it to work again even if I set it to 777 ?

Does anyone have any other ideas on what I could try, or does anyone know a contact that I could pay to sort this, as I do not have the time to rebuild the site from scratch?

Thanks

Hi thanks for your advise.

I tried what you have suggested but still no joy

I should have said that it is version 2.2.2, also there was no adminmenu.php in my the /cache folder?

Thanks

Excuse my ignorance, but is there a list somewhere telling me which folders should have what permissions ?

Thanks

I made an error and ended up deleting my XOOPS website my mistake, so reinstalled the html files and database from a recent backup.

However the site is not working properly and wondered if anyone could point me in the right direction to fix this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Emptying sessions table did not help :(

For the time being I have restored from backup and will try again at the weekend.

I have carefully followed the upgrade instructions and repeated the entire process in case of error, but I cannot get past the log-in screen in /upgrade.

When trying to log-in the screen just refreshes back to blank log-in screen with no errors showing.

Any ideas to what I should try?

Thanks

Thanks Shine

I know you can see the details, if using 2.2.x, but that version has other issues preventing me from using it.

Surely it cannot be that difficult to find a solution to this, but more surprising is that more users have not raised this as an issue.

This anomaly makes the site administrators look very unprofessional, and I need to find a solution before I can proceed with XOOPS, on this project. :(

I am setting up a XOOPS website for our trade association and have set all new registrations to be verified by the Webmaster, so as we can check they are association members before activating the account.

The problem is that I do not know how to view the details the user has entered? If you try to view the details of an inactive user, the system wants to activate the user first !

Can anyone suggests a method for me to see details BEFORE activating the account, or a way to have all the details emailed to the webmaster in the new user notification email?

Xoops Ver 2.0.18

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
