1) You can not see passwords. They are encrypted in the database.

2) Move the position of blocks by changing the "weight" parameter in Admin->Blocks. The larger the number the further down the block will be displayed.

I've installed X 2.2.2.

Every thing was going OK until I tested adding comments.

As you can see, the user information is hidden behind the actual content.

At first I thought that it was a theme problem, so I reverted to the default theme. No difference.

Then I thought maybe it was the module that I was using, so I installed Tiny Content and tried it there. No difference either.

Anybody got an idea what might have gone wrong?

Thanks.

OK. Thanks for that. I'm enlightened two fold.

Anybody want to add about TextSanitizer?

Dev Wiki - Xoop VUF says to use xoops_confirm function to avoid using queryF on get requests.

Can somebody please expand on this statement so that an old newbie like me will understand.

Secondly, is there some guidance anywhere about the use of $xoopsDB->queryF()? The Wiki says to use with caution!!! but fails to elaborate on what caution needs to be taken.

Thirdly (and last for today...) are there any guidlines on using TextSanitizer? When is it appropriate to use, and what is it capable of doing?

Thanks.

I've been playing with XOOPS for a short while now and I am impressed with what I see so far.

I'm interested to get opinions from more experienced users and developers as to why they chose XOOPS.

What other systems did you look at before deciding to go with XOOPS, and why did you decide XOOPS over the alternative(s).

Thanks.

You might have some difficulty with the language packs though as I don't think anybody has created any in american.

If you can understand the English packs you wont have any difficulties.

I want to change the Main Menu so that not all options are displayed at all times.

What logic can I add to the template to make a basic subset appear if the user is not logged on? Then add more options as the user is logged in as a registered user, and even more options added if they are say a moderator, and finally all the options appear for the webmaster.

Is this possible?
