Does XOOPS Banners support local addressing?

Example: <{$xoops_url}>/images/banners/1.jpg

I'll try what jdseymour said and see how things go.

Thanks

By default CSS will override any properties you assign in your HTML code, therefore it's a good idea to stick to the CSS stylesheet which will probably be called style.css in the root folder of your site.

And for those of us who don't know anything about CSS, here's a great source for beginners: W3 Schools

Hope this helps!

Removing "Page Redirection"

I saw a topic regarding removing the redirection page which says:

"If the page does not automatically reload, please click here"

It was for an earlier version of XOOPS, and it seems that it will not work with v2.2

I wanted to know if anyone knows how to remove this redirection?

Thanks.

I have a problem with XOOPS Banners.

I have <{$xoops_banner}> included in my theme.html file but even after banner configuration, I can't get the banners to show, but the banner system shows that it is counting the impressions each time the page loads.

Any ideas on what could be the problem?

Thanks in advance.

I tried connecting to PHPMyAdmin but it says error #2003, cannot connect to the server, this menas the whole server must be down and not just the instance of the database.

I've contacted my Hosting provider to see what they can do.

Thanks.

Hi all,

SOS!!!!

I have a big problem with SmartFAQ. I just added some categories with no problems, then added a Q&A and then BANG. My databse is down and I get the following message:

This page cannot be displayed due to an internal error.

If you are the administrator of this site, please visit the XOOPS Troubleshooting Page for assistance.

Helpful information you should provide while asking for assistance:

Error [Xoops]: Unable to connect to database in file \wwwroot\class\database\databasefactory.php line 34

My site won't laod and I keep on getting this message.

No access to anything, not even recovery.php

I'm using XOOPS v2.2, and too bad I realized a little late that SmartFAQ doesn't work with v2.2 at the moment.

Can anyone help me please!!!

Hi everyone,

I've run into some problems in my Kernel folder and I don't know what's the cause. Here are the errors I receive in index.php:

Notice [PHP]: Undefined index: name in file C:\Domains\website\wwwroot\kernel\object.php line 279
Notice [PHP]: Undefined index: name in file C:\Domains\website\wwwroot\kernel\object.php line 280
Notice [PHP]: Undefined index: name in file C:\Domains\website\wwwroot\kernel\object.php line 375
Notice [PHP]: Undefined index: name in file C:\Domains\website\wwwroot\kernel\object.php line 279
Notice [PHP]: Undefined index: name in file C:\Domains\website\wwwroot\kernel\object.php line 280
Notice [PHP]: Undefined index: name in file C:\Domains\website\wwwroot\kernel\object.php line 375

I also have a layout problem. In all the themes that I use, I get this error of having the page resized with a horizontal scroll bar, whereas when I click on a new link in the same page, the page resizes back to normal. What could be the problem?

Thanks

No, the search button is a simple submit button! And the other thing is that it searches in Google France!

Thanks anyway!

I''ve installed the Google2 module, but despite choosing English as my default language, I still get the buttons and masks as French.
