The template are store in database (table tpl...) , perhaps the row is not alrready present. If it is true, you must reinstall your module..

You can also delete the data table (after backup your database) and reinstall the install module.

Perhaps it's a problem of the $tpl class whith is not well define in file common.php...

Hope that help !

That fixed the problem I had with the same error.

Mine occurred after unloading Wordpress for Xoops.

Thanks!

I have a similar issue:

Deleted the proper files, cleared the proper folders and uploaded the htdocs folder to root and the upgrade folder.

I was running the upgrade from 2.0.13.2 to 2.0.15.

The problem is that thehttp://myurl.com/upgrade page is blank.

And the main page url displays the following:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: getinstance() in /home/myID/domains/myURL.com/public_html/xoops/include/common.php on line 39

here is line 39, etc:

// ############## Activate error handler ##############
include_once XOOPS_ROOT_PATH . '/class/errorhandler.php';
$xoopsErrorHandler =& XoopsErrorHandler::getInstance();

*** Update ***

I copied the common.php file from the 2.0.15 folder back up to my server and now I get the admin logon prompt, but then I get the following:

"XOOPS system upgrade
Checking applied upgrades:
2.0.13-to-2.0.14 Yes
No upgrade necessary. Please remove this folder from your server"

Here is my xoopsinfo report:
Website URL:
http://URL

XOOPS Version:
XOOPS 2.0.15

XOOPS Theme:

XOOPS Template Set:

PHP Version:

User's Browser:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.6) Gecko/20060728 Firefox/1.5.0.6

Pleae help my entire site is down!

I just have to bump this up and hope that gardenguy is able to make some headway or at least grok it out enough for some other modder to fix it.

If I didn't work 50 hours a week and have two small children, I WOULD learn enough php to fix it myself, but as it is...

I have to echo n01un0's words that all the other weather modules can't compare to this one.

Thanks to any and all that help out with this.

Since I have no clue what XOOPS is, I am not sure what version of ms-weather you guys use here. The version I use is Quote:
/* MS-Weather: class.msweather.php */
/* v3.0c 11-07-2003 FOR PHP-NUKE 6.5 */
It was from Maty-scripts who has disappeared from the scene.
Is this what you have been using for XOOPS?

There is a XOOPS specific version for XOOPS. The latest rev is 1.4 .

I am making good progress on putting the city choice feature back in.
Took awhile to figure out their schema.
Should have that done cleanly today.
Then need to clean up the code quite a bit and publish.
Should be a few days.
Stay tuned.

OK, it's official, gardenguy ROCKS!!!

Thanks, man!

Let us know when it is ready for release.

I was working on it but many strange things happen there.
I had it working for a few hours when suddenly it stopped.
I discovered that the five-day-forcast had suddenly changed to forecast-module-night and contained no information.
I was also having trouble getting the cute little icons to display.
Given that, I am switching to NOAA which means USA only (sorry rest of world) and probably it will no longer have drop down to choose other cities and will just be my site's city.
Sorry

Did you make sure to include the hack?

That's when a make a post in a topic to keep it active or higher in the list of topics without posting any new information.

As much as I like XOOPS, this is the biggest issue I have:
Modules that are great that get abandoned by the author.

I hate clicking on a link for a module and finding out that the link is dead.

I wish there was a more formalized way for people to pass off projects/module support to others that would be willing to pick up the banner.
