Hi.

Using XOOPS 2.0.14 and up to date modules.

I'm having trouble getting email notifications when adding something in different modules. All the users are set to recive email notification and they all checked the global/category/whatever notification inside every module.
But, the users ain't getting any email notification no matter witch module I add something in. They do get PM if notification is set to PM - but it's set to recive email but not getting any.

Anyone with this problem?

Regards!

How did you make the birthday-hack work? What hack? Or did you do it by yourself?

Regards!

One more thing...

I found out that if you create the subfolders via FTP and CHMOD them to 777, you can upload images etc via FCKeditor. You can also use pictures uploaded via FTP - you just need to CHMOD them for full control...

But still - If I create a subfolder in FCKeditor image/filemanager - you still can't upload in that folder

Regards

I checked out Fckeditors docu wiki. In order to upgrade the editor you need to upload the editor folder overwriting the existing folder. No hacks required. I.E. and Firefox still show script errors in regards to the Default Toolbar. I'll investigate the problem further and if possible, offer a fix.

That worked great! Thanks ... I've used 5-6 hours to get it to work - simply upload and overwrite old files and it worked. All that time wasted! .. I had to configure the config.php though in "class/xoopseditor/fckeditor/editor/filemanager/
browser/default/connectors/php/"
because I have xoops224 in a sub folder.
fx=($Config['UserFilesPath'] = '/cms/UserFiles/' ;)
So now every FCKeditor looks for files and images the same place (nice control)!
I got the lates FCKeditor athttp://www.fckeditor.net/download/default.html

BUT! - and this I cannot figure out... :-O
I can upload pictures in the imagemanager of FCKeditor just fine. I can even create folders for better control over my files/images. But I CAN NOT upload in the subfolders!? And if I upload a picture via FTP in a subfolder, the image dosn't apear in the imagemanager (FCKeditor) even after refreshing, caching etc.

Does anyone have an idear why I can't upload in subfolders and see the content in the subfolder (even if uploaded via FTP)?

Best Regards
And keep up the good work!

I found out "UserFiles" location on windows (apache) & linux behave differently.

1) Linux: the folder will be the same level as mainfile.php
2) Windows: it is folder before mainfile.php

workaround:
edit ..\modules\content\admin\fckeditor\editor\filemanager\browser\default\connectors\php\connector.php
look for $GLOBALS["UserFilesPath"] = '/UserFiles/'
append your root folder just before UserFiles
ie: C:\www\tempe-goreng.com\mainfile.php -> $GLOBALS["UserFilesPath"] = '/tempe-goreng.com/UserFiles/'

..and you can start upload your files

True ... but creating a subfolder and uploading into that won't work ... I really tried ... :(
