this one is built from the ground up thanks to hyperpod, although, it is mostly for musicians. Could work for your purpose.

Work will begin in about a week for the next release of members homepages.

My band is getting a major buzz on, locally right now. Media attention, promotions, in the studio, music video, band practices, battle of the bands. All this with my shitty pizza job, my php course, and the launch of two websites has had me tied up.

I just read what I typed, could I be any more modest, lol. Seriously though, I don't have time for my love who has recently entered my life again, and I had to ditch my zombie movie project. (this sort of just happened, a little over all our heads.)

This looks most excellent. Although, if all this could be duplicated for venues, listeners, labels, etc and placed all within the same module (not clones). Then there could be some useful interaction between these different profile types. The ability to create new profile types within the admin would be nice.

Yeah, that sounds like a completely messed up function.

I did not explain enough above, I have not encountered as big of a problem as you. The example I show should have been with the Sort By feature not Alphabets. The reason I do not use alphabets on category pages is because the listings show from all categories, making it pointless to place the menu on a category. Where as the sort by does not carry over to page 2. Half a solution, you could increase the number of Items in Sort By listing.

I have only been messing around with the alphabets from the new release of WF-Downloads (great module!). Download the new WF-Downloads, open include/functions.php, search for: letters, the first result is the function.

Try to re-integrate this feature to you module. If this is fixed you will release it? cool

This is some really excellent work. I can't wait until I'm this quick. It is great to see a module built step by step, keep the updates coming.

Those error wornings are displayed by php debug. To turn off, go to System Admin > Preferences > General > Debug mode

The problem is within your modules. I have seen this error with bad module clones (fix: un-install clones) and incomplete modules from an update (fix: upload old module files and update module again).

I have also seen this error from incomplete modules which I have only uploaded, not installed or active.

Just to let you know...

I have been fiddling around with some code and testing possible module functions. I think I have a different approach to this module and the results may be surprising.

I am not sure if 'What I want to do' can be possible. Development has not started yet. I am just testing some ideas and fresh code.

I will keep you posted.

I only use the alphabet menu on the module index page. I think it mixes up when you are on 'Page 2, 3, 4, etc'. I have noticed the 'Sort by' menu mixes up too.

Example:
- Sort by 'A'
- shows first 5 listings
- click 'Page 2'
- listings show page 2 of default 'sort by' order

The letters and Sort By orders do not carry over to next page.

This is alternate code, mostly just for printing the alphabet menu in your template.
