Is there any other multimenu-like module?

There is also iMenu module, but I'm not shure it will do the job...

Hi,

if I understand your question correctly, you can go to admin -> groups, select the group you want to edit and give access right to modules, you want only registered users to see, to the Registered Users group. Remove access rights for Anonymous Users group.

Some modules may have more precise access rights for per category or per user access... Those are set in the respective module, but most modules use XOOPS groups access system.

You can keep the site open for new user registrations.

You can also create your own groups for better access management.

Hi,

can you liogin as admin and go to site administration? (try YOURSITE/admin.php or YOURSITE/user.php)

Enable phpdebug mode in sustem -> pregerences -> general and see what the error is.

If you want to uninstall the module first disable the gallery module from admin -> system -> modules (turn off active), uninstall it from the same place and only after that delete files.

Hi,

if you see this

Quote:
"Module File for multiMenu Not Found!Module File for Not Found!"

it means you did not upload the right filder. You need to upload the folder containing xoops_version.php file in your modules folder.

And you can ignore this:
Quote:
"Notice: Undefined variable: msgs in file /modules/system/admin/modulesadmin/main.php line 178"

Your problem could be same as the one with extcal (file names). There are some files in script folder with capital letters.

If you are getting familiar with XOOPS and need a menu system you may try iMenu - it is very simple to set up. There will be some notices and be aware of the folder name - it is iMenu with capital letter.

Hi,

good your problem is solved

Quote:
Does anyone know how to make my system not depending on capital letters?

I'm not sure you can do this... But maybe your problem is somewhere else - in the software you use to upload the files. The original file in archive is with small and capital letters, so maybe the program change it when uploading. Check the settigs there...

Hi,

is there a reason to use extcal 2.04?

Current version is 2.2.2 - you may checkhttp://www.zoullou.net/ or download it from here:

Hi

Quote:
When I upload the modules onto my web site's module folder, I can not see the module in the administration page

There may be few reasons for that:

one is what ghia said in previous post, so follow that advice;

the second is that you have a module not compatible with your version of xoops. Some old modules will not work with new XOOPS versions. It is good practice to upload modules one by one. If the module does not show in module admin and it is not a problem with missing component - framework or something, delete that module or it will prevent next module to show.

Try to enable php debug in admin and look for clues (errors) where the problem is.

Hi,

in Administration Menu -> System -> Preferences -> General Settings find "Default theme" option, change it, scroll down and hit "Go!"
