LOL Thanks. But I just used the Extended Code Hack in the download section to make life easier. But there is yet another problem that I just incountered. Since XOOPS has multiple pages my flash movie reloads if you click on a link. The Flash isn't anything more then a simple Audio Player with a Play and Stop button. Is there a way that I can make XOOPS a complete iFrames site? So that I can have my Blocks on the left and the content load in the center frame? If anyone can help me with this that would be GREAT!!!!

Sorry guys for this dumb question.

I have my XOOPS installed in directory. www.domain.com/xoops/html.

My users all of course just type in www.domain.com I was wondering if there is a way to Redirect my user from www.domain.com to www.domain.com/xoops/html. But here is the catch. I want www.domain.com to be displayed in the address bar after the redirect. And now www.domain.com/xoops/html/modules/news. Wondering if anyone can help me with that?

ok, well after searching this website for a lot of the problems I have came up with I found another one.

I can't install any Modules. I click on INSTALL and then right after I click install I get

Unable to install Sections. Error(s):
-
Installing Sections

- Could not insert Sections to database.

Also, none of my setting will save. When I want to change the template or even change the GMT time zone. After I click save. Everything just goes back to the default.

I am using PHP5 and I read all the threads regarding the issue with php5. I changed line 528 to __clone() and it worked great for initial start-up. But what else am I doing wrong?

I installed the XOOPS portal on my Local Apache server. After the installation is finished and all Tables for the database have been set-up. I get this stupid error message after I try to visit my homepage..

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_CLONE, expecting T_STRING in C:\apachefriends\xampp\htdocs\xampp\xoops\html\kernel\object.php on line 528

What does this mean?
