I have tried the hack XOOPS hack to give me a "remember me" button at the log on. Even this does not work. Is there a way in XOOPS to make the session time 1 year? so people do not get logged out unless they want to? Thanks

RSS Fit In Firefox

Hello I just found RSS Fit, installed it and it SEEMS to be working. However it take a long long time to load the rss feed, and Firefox does not display the RSS icon so i can LIVE BOOKMARK it, I really want this functionality. I want the rss feed for the default News Module, maybe there is a better, faster way to do this? Any help? Thanks

I am using the default headlines module that comes with XOOPS but the least amount of time I can cache it is 1 hour. Are there any other modules that will update the RSS every 1 minute? Thanks

HEy all, I bet this is the dumbest question ever asked here.....but....how can i make the XOOPS forum threaded and display the olderst post first? Right now it keeps defaulting to Flat, I can click flat view inside a thread to change it over, but i want it to ALWAYS be threaded and never flat? How can I set that up? Thanks a bunch

Best Image Gallery For Xoops

Hey All wanted to get opinions on what the best image gallery is for xoops. I am using gallery, i really like it, but I'm getting odd errors that doesnt allow me to upload all of my pictures, see this thread (any help with this would be great!)

But I'm looking for other gallery modules, what do you guys like?

ps. I really like the random picture block

it is netpbm v9.something. I have tried image magic as well...just dont know what the deal could be, is there a better gallery module out there that wont give me this problem? I do like the random picture block....so modules with that would be cool. I have just always used gallery and dont really want to switch, but i cant understand why its messing up on some seemingly random pics

Right, well im pretty sure NetPBM path is correct, since it all the checks are correct. And i can upload other pictures that arent these "invalid" types

Lets see, I am still getting these errors, the webserver has NetPBM installed, when i get gallery to check it, all the checks are OK. I can upload all of these error images to my other gallery v1.4.4 without any problem.

The permissions for albums seems right cmod 777. I have tried using imagemagix instead of netpbm still errors. Now, i didnt think that i needed to run any config wizard for the XOOPS gallery, but maybe this is my problem, cause i havent run anything like the config that you do when you install the standalone, but I do have lots (150) pictures up and working on my xoopsgallery....
