date format in news module

The news articles appear with the date in the format year/month/day which is very confusing for me who is used to day/month/year. Does anyone know where I can go to change this?

can users upload new docs and images

Can remote users (by that i mean users that do not have access to the server) upload new documents (pdf and word docs) and images.
I use module icontent.

mouse cursor

I am trying to change the mouse cursor. I have read in previous threads how to do it but in them they say that you have to save the image you want as the cursor as .cur.
How do you do this? Do you have to have a particular programme. I can only save images as .jpg or .gif.

removing gaps between blocks??

My main menu runs down the left handside of the screen. It is made up of various blocks at the moment.
I want this menu to be seamless. But gaps appear between the blocks. Is there any way of telling XOOPS not to put gaps inbetween the separate blocks??

start page=none set. so where is the html for this?

I have set the start page as none.

I want to be able to go into the code for this page and add some html. I can't find where this file is stored though. Does anyone know?

i have tried to set the recent news block. I told it to be visible in the top page. I presume that menas homepage. But it became visible on all the pages.

Is there any way of asking a module to display within a frame that is in a page that is inside another module. I could then make a frame on the page and insert the news module. ????
