I am sorry to see how many people are leaving Xoops.org administrative team. But what is more sad is that the amount of censorship and moderation on this website that has increased by lots since three years ago that I joined.
From the discussion of the logo and new theme to this thread, the moderators are willing to edit other people's opinion. This is absolutely against the fundumental freedom of expression. I mean come on, this website is international and we "mostly" live in modern countries. Can't we just respect each other's opinions? What is the reason of moderation if there is not dirrect insulting language?
Throughout this week, I have seen more than enough moderation in this forum and I think this should be stopped immediately. In the modern world, censorship no longer is the solution, but rather, it is the problem.
The more you censor, the more you initiate hatered, that is a fact.Continue this censorship and see how many more people will leave. I guarantee in a year we will lose 20-30% of the active members, and I will be one of them.
I think moderators should loosen up a bit, this censorship is getting too much tight.
Hopefully the Big Brother would not delete/modify this post...

Guys,
Stop these discussion of "I've done better than you, you've done nothing, I'm this, I'm That,blah,blah,blah". Seriously stop these flame wars,
Just put up a poll, put the candidates:
1) Catzwolf
2) Phppp
3) JMorris
then let people vote. Send an email to everyone to make sure they vote too. I strongly advice this poll system to be installed ASAP to manage the situation here, these is a public mess and needs to be handled ASAP.
If you, however, want to put some of your biography as a campaign or anything like that(your portfolio of coding for instance), I think it would be appropriate to do so. I, in fact, encourage you to do so. But please don't ruin everybody elses campaign.
This system should be democratic and workable. Other system, that require consensus is generally very slow and not good for advancement. So let's just elect someone as a leadre, President or whatever you want to call it, and move on. And please finish these hate talks now!

I am the former webmaster of the Persian XOOPS support, and was the former team member of the communication team. Due to the recent great changes that I have heared about Xoops, I am really interested to join XOOPS once again. I would like to kow if it is possible for me to do so. I can help in the areas of Graphics, communications, XOOPS documentation and etc.

What a game! I wish Germans would advance to the next level!

What a game it was!
At the last two minutes of the second overtime (118-120 mins) of 2006 World Cup Germany Italians scored two goals and advanced to the finals.
Personally I was on the German side, but Italians played well.
I however think, that if Brasil could play this time, instead of being eliminaed, they could win in this game, as they played better than both Germans and Italians.
My prediction is that if the French come up just as Italy, they will win! Let's see what you say!

If you are not in a need of a CMS right away, use XOOPS (2.0.13x) and wait for Code-Plus to come out and you'll have the ability to convert to Code-Plus. In fact, Code-Plus has the features of both XOOPS and Joomla such as, multi lingulality, Joomla content managing system, XOOPS groups and permissions system and much more. It's Simple, create what you want with Code-plus!

It's good that we don't pay taxes for Queen in Canada. Nevertheless, we have bunch of other taxes, like GST, PST, House Tax, Income tax, and etc.
