Two questions:

Is it possible to show the modules in the "main menu" to anonymous users but when they click on the button the module, they are redirected to a "please register" page?

Second question, is there way to show a description of the module when the mouse arrow moves over the button?

It is an effort to show what the site is about but encourage
people to register.

Thanks

What is the proceedure to use the w3c-validator for xoops?
I started on the default theme which worked for one edit and then the line numbers were all mixed up. I saw a post that the
validator would only show errors in the resulting html. How or which files need editing for the validator? Text-sanitizer?

Thanks

Okay, I smell something funny with the hosting. I swear it wasn't working yesterday and I didn't change anything. Hmm, sorry to have taken you for a ride. Now if I can just get the themes on another site to work....

I thought everything was peachy with the banners being linked to the destination sites I wanted until I realized that the links Only worked when I was logged in. Why?
The only thing I can think of is that the Main (module) menu I have only accessable for people logged in.

Thanks

Hello,

I have been using XOOPS for awhile now and have to build another My question is whether XOOPS has a dropdown language module (bottom left) like in php-nuke or post-nuke. I would like to stay with XOOPS but really like the language choice feature.

Thanks for any help,

xdirctory latest listings display and double module install

Hello,

1) I would like to display the "latest listings block"
of xdirectory but I can only see being able to start
with the xdirectory as the first page.
Can I copy to code into a new block or make a template?

2) With the help of the Italian XOOPS site:
m.ragogna@xoopsit.net

they helped me translate the newbbex module to Italian
www.lynhines.freesurf.fr/newbbex.zip

I would like to install the module twice, once for French and once for Italian.
I changed the names of the tables to be installed in the
sql file but I don't know if I have to change the names of all the variables following "define..."

Thanks

Hello,

I would like to change yahoo for maporama in the xdirectory map feature.
I replaced the section in the xdir_link.html file as I saw in another post but even though I have the file changed it
always uses the yahoo.com entry with the default module.

Where else is the url for yahoo located enable to change it.

Thanks

Thanks for your post. Can I ask what is the order for updating?

First uninstall 1.1
second install 1.5?

Dump all the tables?

Thanks
