I have just upgraded one of my sites from 2.2 to 2.3 but I forgot to log into admin before ftp'ing over the update files. Now when i enter my admin user name and password I'm just greeted by a white user page. If I the try and manualy type in /system/admin into the address bar I jusr get you don't have permission to access this area.

Is there anything I can to to run the system update so I can log in again?

Upgraded to 2.3 and most of the problems have gone.

Only one left that I can see is when I go into my forums (CBB 2.2 RC)

Notice [PHP]: unserialize(): Error at offset 0 of 9 bytes in file kernel/object.php line 350
Notice
[PHP]: unserialize(): Error at offset 0 of 7 bytes in file kernel/object.php line 350

But thats probably more to do with CBB than xoops

I have recently upgraded to 2.2 and am now getting php debug errors on my modules.

In my CBB Module i get the following:

Notice [PHP]: unserialize(): Error at offset 0 of 9 bytes in file kernel/object.php line 344
Notice
[PHP]: unserialize(): Error at offset 0 of 7 bytes in file kernel/object.php line 344

Line 344 is:
$ret =& unserialize($ret);

In my WFsection and others I get the following:

Notice [PHP]: Undefined indexname in file kernel/object.php line 279
Notice
[PHP]: Undefined indexname in file kernel/object.php line 280
Notice
[PHP]: Undefined indexname in file kernel/object.php line 375

Line 279 is:
$ret $this->vars[$key]['value'];

Line 280 is:
switch ($this->vars[$key]['data_type']) {

Line 375 is:
if ($this->vars[$key]['options'] != '' && $ret != '') {

Any help with this would be much apperciated :)

Everything seems to be related to the object.php file in kernel

Spoke too soon, everyone can view the forums apart from guests. Even though in admin/users/groups/guests the access rights box for the forum is ticked :(

###EDIT####

Just ignore me, I forgot to set the permissions for each topic category

Oh great,

Upgraded to CBB 2.2 Final and now get a white screen for my forum pages.

I copied the files over my newbb folder and ran update forum module in admin.

I get a blank screen when I click on the forum module in admin, and I get a total blank screen when I click on forums on the site :(

For some reason I can't delete topics in newbb2, even when logged in as admin. It goes through the motions and asks you if your sure etc, but when you go to view the forum again the topic is still there.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Otherwise people could post all sorts of stuff and I wouldnt be able to get rid of it
