Yes its a bug and being looked into

I thought I would bump this thread from two years ago to mention that this bug is still here. The 'fix' of removing all the line breaks in the html code does work, but it's painful to have to do that.

I'd like to try this hack, can you please make it available again?

I am having trouble putting a table in a forum post... it adds a heap of blank lines before the table. I know that Tiny Content can get around this, but I don't know how it does it.

Did you check the values of both upload_max_filesize and post_max_size?

upload is set to 15M

max post is 8M

So I guess it's not that :(

coldbeer, I had mine set to 30 seconds, which is plenty of time for me to upload 2+mb to my server (100mb ethernet connection). I will try and increase it now, but I don't think that will help.

Thanks for offering a solution though, I appreciate the effort.

Make sure you read all the comments, requires a small ammount of bug fixing to get working (this is RC1). I don't know if there ever was an RC2, or if there will be, but aside from the 2mb thing I have this working fine with my 2.0.6.

Thanks for the reply m0nty, but that's not the problem. I already have my upload limit in the moudle set to 90000000 (90mb) and I have direct control of my php.ini which is set to 15mb.

I'm thinking there is something hidden in the module code that needs to be changed, but I just don't know what.

2MB upload limit in Downloads Module

I am running a XOOPS site on 2.0.6 with the officially modified download module to allow uploading.

Everything is running perfectly except I cannot upload anything over 2mb. I have scoured the server for anything that might be restricting the uploads but have come up short. I am thinking it's somewhere in the download module, but I don't know where to look.

I can quite happily upload files larger than 2mb to the xoopsgallery module (1.33) which makes me more sure it's a limit of the downloads module.

If anyone could help I'd be most appreciative.

Not sure what config you're talking about Catzwolf!?

There is nothing in the "Downloads" config that indicates download size. And I can't find anything in the System Admin section.

Hmm, I've looked through httpd.conf and can't find anything that might be limiting uploads to 2mb.

In php.ini it has an upload limit, but mine was already set to 5mb.

If anyone has any ideas I'd love to hear them :).

cRuNcHiE,

Thanks mate, that is precisely the problem here. Thanks to you I have narrowed it down size only (as you say 2mb). I can now upload .zip, .Zip, .ace, .whateverthehellIwant but only if it's less than 2mb.

Now my question is, where is this setting/limit stored? I have full access to my server so there must be a way I can increase this limit?!
