Ok, got it working now, sorry about that. Now you know why I want to not use PHPNuke. Anyway, on the main page, I love the cleanness of the calendar and the scrolling of the events. On the events, it is also nice and compressed so more events fit into the space. If you search KalendarMx PHPNuke, you should be able to find it for download to examine the code or I can email it to you also.

Thanks, Corey

Thanks, turned on debug and it still is blank. I uninstalled ver2 beta2 and installed ver1 and it works on that version.

I will work with that version to see if it does what I need.

Now (I know you don't support ver2), when you go to the site, are you going to mine? I listed two sites, one with the KalendarMx example (http://www.koltz.com/rrsd), and my other test site which is running XOOPS (http://www.koltz.com/rrsd2). So was wondering if you were referring to one of those sites?

Thanks, Corey

It is active, and you won't debug beta 2? Or release 2 at all? I do appreciate your quick replies though. Pretty much all I was asking is am I missing a step in the installation, or do I just go to the modules and install it that way. No other extra steps?

Got it downloaded, but I am still having problems.

1st - When I activate any of the blocks, my page does not display, just blank screen.

2nd - Anything suppose to come up in the Index tab?

3rd - When I add an event, it submits it, but doesn't keep, no events for some reason save or show?

4th - Anything supposed to come up in Link an Event? Mine is blank.

I am running 2.0.92 and pretty much a fresh install with a few non-beta/prerelease mods installed. I am also kind of new to Xoops. So not always sure what are default install setups are. I know some of the mods required chmod's to certain files or dirs. But can't find anything in regards to that for this one?

Thanks, Corey

First, it looks like your calendar will be excellent. But Beta 2's file isn't located for download. I click on the link and it gives me an error.

As for features, I posted this in the beginner's section and your calendar is the closest (from what I can tell) to what I need. There is a calendar for PHPNuke called KalendarMx which is a german product, but is very slick. It color codes category's (like yours) but with a small colored icon. That icon then is displayed next to the event and on the bottom it shows what each icon means. It also offers scrolling events, so if there are multiple events, it will scroll thru them to help reduce the space that is used. Very cool feature. If you wanted to see it running, go tohttp://www.koltz.com/rrsd for my test PHPNuke site. My XOOPS site which is what I will be switching to once I have finalized everything is athttp://www.koltz.com/rrsd2.

As for installing Beta 1, there weren't any docs and I can access it in admin, but when I activate it for the live site, my XOOPS site goes blank (nothing comes up at all until I deactiviate the block). I am running 2.0.92.

Thanks, Corey

I was first looking at PHPNuke and switched over to XOOPS the last couple days. Everything has been excellent except I cannot find a good Event Calendar. I have tried the different ones for download, but I have a problem. I work for a school district and for our calendar, I use it for our Breakfast Menu, Lunch Menu, and Events. In the PHPNuke installation (http://www.koltz.com/rrsd), I found an excellent event calendar (though took some searching), if you go to the page you will see the different calendars from that one module. The best thing about it is that I can have different categories and in those categories, they are listed differently with different colors icons. Everything I have tried on the XOOPS side doesn't have anything like that. You can see where I am at right now athttp://www.koltz.com/rrsd. Anyway, does anybody know of a XOOPS Calendar module that works at least very closely as the PHPNuke one, or is there a way to easily get that module working with Xoops?

Thanks, Corey

Yup that is it, but I don't know what WFS is and am I suppose to create a new block in the admin area and just copy the code (change the username/password & database name)?

As for the Welcome Block, it isn't installed on my installation. Did a search on XOOPS also for Welcome block, didn't see anything.

Thanks for your help.

is used for the "Welcome to the Official XOOPS website!" I have been trying to find one and downloaded a bunch of stuff.

I work for a k-12 school district and have used XOOPS before. What I need is something like mentioned above that will allow only one person to edit that page (the district administrator). This would be on the Top Page. I also have a principal that would probably want to do the same thing. I would like them to login in, go to the specific module to edit the code (preferably in WYSIWYG). Only those specific people would be able to use that module for their area. Anything like this available for download?

Thanks, Corey
