just upgraded to latest 0.96 from 0.90 and having the same problem with the recent article page

get a blank front page when a guest views
shows ok when a member

if move the block to another module it dispalys ok for a guest

have tried using the old block.php but still get the same problem

so take it that is permissions related, only occurs when no module is assigned

do use a very custominsed theme, and run all debugging but no joy

anyone help , with solution or advice where to look to try a temp diy fix

there is a XOOPS module of phpdig
am fairly certain it has a pdf search feature and databases with some work,
can do sites, docs in folders etc almost straight out of the box
...

may be wrong but think he means more about general operation of a site and below is why i think this button is a good idea

when approved/submitted a news or similar item, as have many blocks cached to 5 hours or more, then usually want to update all cached blocks, so the item dispalys straight away

the quickest way to do this at moment is to go open admin/preferences/general, scroll to bottom and hit ok

a refresh button that does this on the header of admin section would be very usefull

tried commentingh out xoopslocal calls in file, but results been bit a hit and miss
if comment some can get it running, but if do all it wont run

anyone assist in just what needs to be doe to get it running a 100% under 2.0.13
