error in image manager after update to 2..18.1

dear freinds,

I am having the following error after updating from .16 to .18 and it is showing when I try to open the image manager from the Editor inside a text box:
Error: Smarty error: [in db:system_imagemanager.html line 48]: syntax error: unrecognized tag: $xoops_url}?phpMyAdmin=0ZVL1lo%2Cv5CCJI-nQd1oFvEsKE5>/">

dear xoopers,

we have chosen XOOPS to be the core of the information exchange in our organisation, and as this system gew bigger and biiger, we are looking at moving it to a dedicated server, so we are looking through the best ones we can find, but we would like to hear from someone who have tried it in a dedicated server, to know what configuration do you recommend?

this could be also nice to set up the profile of the PERFECT XOOPS SERVER

your solution works like a charm, thank you all for this great effot, this part of XOOPS was a huge black hole, now at least there is a valid solution

Hi Xoopers,

I am looking for modules and possibilities to use XOOPS as Conference management system, for that I would need modules that:
- Handle user registration (Complex registration)
- Resource allocation
- workflow management
- Schedules

Can you advise me if any of the modules out there can be adecuate? Especially to handle user registration and bills?

All is OK now, the problem was the path, something that I id not check since the stupied hosting company said all the configuration was the same..a good lessoon not to trust anything but the facts

Hi!
I am trying to figure out how to turn the debug mode in the version 2.2.2 thorugh the file recovery.php as the tutorial mentioned, but I cant find it, can you please advise?

My case is that I had to reupload all my page and create the database again since the hosting where I had it hosted went down, and they reassigned an alternative server with the same configuration as the previous, but after my uploading and creating the database I simply get white page

it seems that they have the same ones, I already took your advice and installed it in subdomain, but I cant notice any change...any more ideas?
