Hi, there are so many requests from customers that should be done before Chinese New Year. The update of lang_tool was based on one of them. :)

There's a bug found in previous release. Please use this version instead:

It's just a small update in the way dealing with language files. But the changes should solve many existed problems.

Download it here:
http://code.google.com/p/twpug/downloads/detail?name=lang_tool_0.08.zip

SVN repository:
http://code.google.com/p/twpug/source/browse/#svn%2Ftrunk%2Fxoops%2Fmodules%2Flang_tool

You may notice that it's now including some extra characters, like quotes, PHP syntaxes, and etc when translating. The changes just try to make it more compatible with most existing modules.

I think trabis know the module, since the patterns are the similar. ;)

The patterns couldn't satisfy all possibilities. Maybe somebody could try to answer this question:

You could download the file here:
http://code.google.com/p/twpug/downloads/detail?name=lang_tool_0.08alpha.zip

It's not a ready-to-use module. Before using it, you must complete some steps:

1. Check out the latest version of CakePHP 1.2 from svn:
https://trac.cakephp.org/
2. Copy the 'cake' folder to Frameworks/cake
3. Download and extract the file to the root of your XOOPS
4. Install the module as you did before

I wrote this module in PHP5/Linux/XOOPS 2.3.0 Alpha 2, and haven't tried to think what magic problems will happen when you using it. As you could see, it's in alpha stage. ;)

Hello, is there exists some more information about this? :)

I met some problems. I'm using oryxgen in UTF-8 & Chinese enviornment. I've generated a module and installed through XOOPS module management. When I attempting to add an entry which include UTF-8 (Chinese) characters, all the UTF-8 (Chinese) characters became '?' signs.
