Yes , I did upgrade but was not aware that was already covered.
For example class/mail directory the contents differs from the orginal 2.7 directory

Updated 4x XOOPS 2.5.11 sites without problems, maybe its good idea to have also a post script to remove absolute old files to keep it clean

Thanks for sorting out Mamba, strange thing here is I dont have ant tabel regarding this module in phpmyadmin ?
Do I miss simply sql data here ?, what are the tables wich this module use can we regenerate it ?

Dont know wich version php or mysql/mariadb but try to update to publisher 1.05 final :https://xoops.org/modules/publisher/item.php?itemid=5953

Or go for the 1.07b : https://github.com/XoopsModules25x/publisher/releases/tag/1.07_FINAL_b

system : Xoops 2.5.11 Beta2, PHP 7.4.30, MariaDB 10.4

Cant add new record, adding new input show nothing on the screen
Normally there is an popup that shows the process but now it did not.

Despite I have looked many times to other CMS like wordpress, Xoops the one I'm still confident with
Yes there is lack of nice templates , but I see now more nice templates sharings bu Heyula or Bleeek.

Still one of my favorite CMS , using for years
