Ok let me try to make sense of this mess lol.
I first made a full back up using cPanle and it created a file named backup-6.20.2005_10-01-44_mongoune.tar dnloaded to my remote computer.
Then I upgraded XOOPS 2.0.6 to 2.0.10 using Fantastico
I then looked at my site and is was gone i think the two are not compadible so I want to roll back to XOOPS 2.0.6 but I cannot seem to find the download anywhere. I think if i do thin things will go back to normal with anyluck.

Greetings,
I used Fantastico to create a back up of my site and now I cannot find any information on how to recover my site with the backup file I now have.

I posted this in the Q & A
I just did an update on XOOPS and now my site and its now gone :(. I upgraded XOOPS from 2.0.6 to 2.0.10 and things went wrong. Oops lol, if anyone is able to help me get my site back up please IM me on Yahoo @ suren_unegen or post it. Is there a way for me to revert back to 2.0.6 easily or did I open a can of “I am boned” If you need any information other then what is here let me know.

I received following information when it was done.
- Remove the directory /home/mongoune/public_html
- Untar /home/mongoune/fantastico_backups/.backup.1119322381.tgz
- Empty the database mongoune_xoop1
- Import the file /home/mongoune/fantastico_backups//backup.sql into the database mongoune_xoop1
- Move /home/mongoune/fantastico_backups/ to /home/mongoune/public_html

not to sure what this all means just nothing on site now

Greetings all,
I am moving my site to a new URL and need a bit of help uploading the backup I made of my site. I have looked in the documentation and did a search for backup related items with no luck. Everything I found dealt with users having problems so I came here to see if someone could show a total noob the ins and outs of doing backup and restore for Xoops. What I have done so far.
Created a backup of the site on the old URL
Uploaded and unzipped a back up file in the new URL
Need to know what to do next i have access to cpanel or FTP which ever one is easyest
Thinks a lot

Greetings I am in the middle of setting of my site for my reenactment group in the SCA (Society for the Creative Anachronism) and I need a designer because I am to new to mess with this stuff yet. I would like to find a fellow SCA’er to do this for me for barter if possible. If not any one willing to make a theme for me would be of grate help. Just let me know what information you will need and what you will want in return for you effort. Also if this request is being posted in the wrong place let me know and I will move it.

Thanks
