Hi,
I've tried several modules also xtrasam itself. I think there is something not working with the call to bing or other translation api.

I tried also using bing (I request an api key)

my configuration is the following:

XOOPS Version XOOPS 2.5.6
PHP Version 5.4.4-14+deb7u12
mySQL Version 5.5.38-0+wheezy1-log

I have also verified that when i use the "auto-translate" function, an empty string is written into the db.

Hi,
I installed this module on one of my xoops site (2.5.6) but cannot get any translation. I tried to translate some modules, but the auto-translate does not work. I see files into the new directory and I can manually insert translations but that's all. I have enabled also debug mode but no error rises.

I tried also to use only a single transaltion engine but no change.

Any hint?

To set it back to use the MySQL database, use phpMyAdmin or something equivalent to edit the field in the database.

use this query to view the record that needs to be changed: (also replace with your prefix.)
SELECT * FROM `_config` where `conf_name` = 'auth_method'

Set the 'conf_value' for that record to 'xoops' and it should use the MySQL database again.

DMS (Document Management System) and Swish-e integration

Hi !
I've just installed the DMS (Document Management System) module on a 2.5.7 xoops platform. There are some little errors due the old age of the module, but I'm patching that if needed.
The module seems to work very well but now I want to add swish-e capabilities to the file search and I'm a bit confused.
DMS stores the files as .dat (independently from the file_type that is stored, for each file, in the dms_object_versions table).
On the other hand Swish-e is able to index .doc, .pdf and so on via external plugins that have to convert the above files into text documents so that the search engine can index their content.
But it's not clear how Swish-e can gain the correct mime-type from and route the conversion to the related plugin for each .dat files stored by DMS, due the fact that swish-e seems to determine the mime type via the file extension.

I have mad some big changes now. I feel its getting much better. What do you think?

Its no where near yet and i have lots of work to make it consistant across every page but you can get the gist of how its going.
I will update the download file ASAP.
