Cifug,

I truly appreciated the help with MyLinks debug. It is always good to have the additional help. I'm sure Mamba has a list of things that need to be tested - but if not, then I have a few things that I just haven't been able to get around to fully testing for release.

There's a couple of things that we need to know in order to help:

What version of the mastop-publish module are you using for your products?

What version of PHP are you using?

I assume that Global search is enabled? To verify go to Admin Menu > Preferences > Search Options and make sure that 'Enable global searches?' is set to Yes.

Have you tried turning on debug to see if there's any errors showing? To do this go to Admin Menu > Preferences > General Settings and make sure that "Debug Mode" is set to "Enable Debug (inline mode)" to be able to see errors at the bottom of the page.

I have been a Xoopser for quite a while and 90% of the websites I build are Xoops websites. I would love to contribute but I have never really got into it. I did a test project on MyLinks with Zyspec and he was really cool but I think I may have been a little over excited and maybe a little annoying. But I really enjoyed the whole process and experience. I'm not a coder and I don't understand PHP and the whole thing that makes it work, but I know a little bit of html and I have W3Schools at my doorstep (which I love and use a lot). I don't have any php experience and to be honest I don't even like it but love it at the same time. I only have a few hours a week to spare but I would love to spend those hours productively. This is my shitty resume, hope to get a job LOL

Cheers,
Marty

Our website needs to add a Search function for finding products and I need help in seeing if this is possible.

The Xoops version used is 2.0.16, the website is http://www.ecd.net.au.

I'm new to the site and hope you can assist me!.

Thanks,
Peter

Was just pondering changing the many CSS settings on the site, and thought how could add it into XOOPS core....To have CSS edit spaces for changing the theme, built into XOOPS.

Yet you could do the same in a module, create a users theme generator, having one default main layout theme with everything required, such as clear CSS titles, and places to adjust everything.

Then you could have it each user, could have their own CSS driven layout.

There would need to be a CSS cache folder; where each user has its own CSS, loaded into the default theme.

Anyways just an idea, and not really a request; just thought to share it.
