Hi!
I installed XOOPS successfully and it seemes, that
everything works. But there is 1 thing, that won't
work, the image manager.
When I want to upload a image it displays (in php debug
mode):
Warning: open_basedir restriction in effect. File is in
wrong directory in
/home/www/kunden/new.abi07.com/class/uploader.php on
line 183
Warning: getimagesize: Unable to open '/tmp/phpghFaOM'
for reading. in
/home/www/kunden/new.abi07.com/class/uploader.php on
line 183

First I thought, that it is because of the undefinied
upload_tmp_dir. But then I installed it on another
server from this hoster with configured upload_tmp_dir
and there was the same error.
My hoster says, that these errors normally appear, when
the old copy() function is used. But I don't found this
function in Xoops-Code.
I hope, you can help me...

but even groups right is correct when the user try to access the image manager when posting new post it still not showing any category...

Well, you could probably do something like this, only you'd be changing the title instead of adding arbitrary headers.
In most themes, the title is set by:
So, you could just set the 'xoops_pagetitle' Smarty variable to be whatever you wanted. You chould also edit your theme to get rid of the site name:

How can I get XOOPS to give each generated page a title based on it's content.
For example this article about Sidekick98 I'd like to have the page title 'Sidekick98'.

I tried the admin/preferences and the metagen module but deleting the title entry doesn't seem to make a difference.
Any ideas?

similar thing happened to me: image category gone; not accessible, but the images are still there, and displayed on pages fine.
what i did was access the "edit image category" page directly by entering the URL (like "...?id=1") and make sure the user groups rights are set correctly.
