i having this problem, the category i created ( not upload file yet) has gone after one night, do a quick check the database still showing all the category detail, checking the code

$imgcat_handler = xoops_gethandler('imagecategory');
$imagecategorys =& $imgcat_handler->getObjects();
xoops_cp_header();
echo '

'._IMGMANAGER.'

updated: the category i just create few hour ago.. ( after found out the prev 4 category gone) dissapear also...with 26 image file in that category..

any help?

try using the cvs version of main.php for image manager..
still the same..cannot see all the category i created..

run another fresh install of XOOPS on the same server..
after one night already the category still there...
hhhmmmm so it might because i m upgrading from the xoops1.3.* so cause this problem ? need help pls..

similar thing happened to me: image category gone; not accessible, but the images are still there, and displayed on pages fine.

what i did was access the "edit image category" page directly by entering the URL (like "...?id=1") and make sure the user groups rights are set correctly.

but even groups right is correct when the user try to access the image manager when posting new post it still not showing any category...

any mod/dev can give help..?

Hello,

It faces the same problem though I am using Japanese edition of XOOPS2 and imgmanager.
I revised XOOPS2 with RC1, RC2, RC3, 2.0, 2.0.1, 2.0.2. Then, the category that it was made with RC1 or RC2 stopped being indicated at all with 2.0.2

I am not really familiar with PHP. Therefore, only the contents of the data base were examined. The "imgcat_group_link" table which exists with RC2 is not 2.0.2 as a result.
Though it is not how to solve it, it is hoping that this message touches a developer and the eye of MODs and it is modified.
