Hi, I've just installed Common Utilities and I'm a bit confused. I'm sure I'm missing something simple. I followed the install instruction and got 2 errors on admin page:
Warningfile_get_contents(): http:// wrapper is disabled in the server configuration by allow_url_fopen=0 in file /modules/rmcommon/themes/helium/admin-gui.php line 184

Warningfile_get_contents(http://mysite.com/modules/rmcommon/themes/helium/images/logo-he.svg): failed to open stream: no suitable wrapper could be found in file /modules/rmcommon/themes/helium/admin-gui.php line 184

Do I have to create a new theme for this module? Blocks page is empty with no structure. Does it not work with Bootstrap? What am I missing?

Cheers,
Marty

Edit:
XOOPS 2.5.8
PHP 5.6.22
MYSQL 5.6.30

In user admin when I click on "Add" (top left) I get:
Fatal errorCall to a member function groups() on null in /home/mysite/public_html/modules/rmcommon/users.php on line 303

Notice
Undefined variableuser in file /modules/rmcommon/users.php line 303

Any Ideas?

Cheers,
Marty

I installed "MyWords" and published a test post and got:
NoticeUndefined variableblocks in file /modules/rmcommon/class/blocksfunctions.php line 108

A lot of the old admin preferences is missing, like turning my site on/off for example. If I go to mysite.com/admin.php it keeps redirecting to common utilities so I can't turn my site back on - lol

I did find one thing wrong in MyWords template. Comments form not showing at the bottom of a post.

In mywords-post.tpl on line 34 it should be:
<{$comments_form}>

Of course, we want!
However, we had to install it couple of weeks ago, because, we had spammers who were coming in and would post almost 100 messages in few minutes.

However, we plan to have in the future a solution that would place this constraint only for newly registered users. Unfortunately, I can't tell you when it will be

I just hope that this constraint is only temporary and we'll go back to the regular cycle soon...

Hi mamba
I agree with cifug: Quote:

is no solution.
It is like to capitulate against spammers
Antispamming/Antispamregistration must have first priority.

I'm assuming the latest versions as I got them from http://rmcommon.com/en/

Can't be sure of versions right now as I uninstalled them. It looked just too hard for me to get it to work as I spent 6 hours playing with it and only found one very small bug which I committed on github.

Cheers,
Marty
