Oledrion download zip error unkown ID

What am I doing wrong?
I created a download folder in my public_html.
I have uploaded my .zip files which have the pdf(s) in them
And I have tried/tested it and keep getting Error Unkown ID when I click on the validation link in the email sent by oledrion.
I have checked the path to file download and it is correct.

What on earth am I doing wrong.


I am using XOOPS 2.3.3
Oledrion 2.31

I was hoping someone else my know since there seems to be tension between Herve and XOOPS and the last I read he was not going to provide support anymore.

I would try to talk to him if I were you. He fixed some problems for me before, and even fixed up a customized version of the news module with multiple category selection, etc. He's a really great guy, and was probably just stressed that day. It never hurts to ask him.

I use that module on 1 site, but just as a thrift store for a non-profit, so I have never tried out the file download feature. Maybe someone else here knows. Sorry I couldn't help more.

Correct path to download folder is :

Not like that :
http://www.your-shop.com/uploads/downloads-folder/

But like that :
/home/c/users/4/www/uploads/downloads-folder/

Yes that's what I mean, the path is the way you say it should be.

/home2/xxxxx/public_html/downloads/filename.zip

isn't this the correct way?

I changed it to
/home2/xxxxx/www.zzzzz.com/uploads/downloads/filename.zip
Now I get ERROR FILE DOESN'T EXIST

It does exist I've checked three times.

sorry, what I would mean is

• open your mainfile.php
• copy XOOPS_ROOT_PATH, eg for a local site : c:/wamp/www/my-shop
• open product form and paste it into field "Path of the file to download"
• correct path by adding folder(s) and file name (eg : c:/wamp/www/my-shop/uploads/downloads/myfile.php)

... be careful : for a production website, all " / " are " \ "
