Hi,
I have downloaded 2.3.1 and trying to setup but on step 5/11 I am entering IP address in Server hostname and username and password but when I am clicking on next it is not proceeding? Anyone faced this issue? thanks

On what sort of machine/system are you installing - local machine/wamp or remote server?

Try a web address rather than an IP address.

It is a shared hosting server and which I used old version but this new version is giving this problem. The hosting guys are suggesting that I need to purchase dedicated hosting? On my local machine I installed wamp and it is working but on hosting site it is not working. Guidance will be appreciated. thanks

As JAVesey said: Enter your domain name eg. mysite.com
The IP address will not work.
But there is no need to purchase dedicated hosting.
If PHP and MySQL are present, it should work out (see detailed requirements in the readme files).
