Xoops BLOG or Wordpress module (recent release ??)

well i looked into the modules repository just a bit ago
and went through a few good pages on either
BLOGs for xoops
and Wordpress modules for Xoops

cant really make a good heads or tails of anything recent and working properly.

Just need something very simple
attach pics, add text info etc.

But all the items in the mod repository are so dated that i cant read any comments on them.

So.... anyone have a lead on a good one?

if i dont realy come across something i like
could i just upload another copy of my NEWS module?
but just change the name of the folder it sits in?

If i wanted to just use a secondary NEWS module like the one i have, what would i need do to so they dont conflict with eachother at the SQL level?

everything im reading in that thread is for XOOPS 2.3
im using XOOPS 2.0.18.1

so i downloaded and installed the above mentioned Wordpress 2.2.2

but i cant find anyplace in it to edit the language into ENGLISH

hell if i can make out anything on the site where its downloaded from either but MAN i need help with this one

Go to > modules > wordpress > wp-config.php”

Change

define (’WPLANG’, de_DE);

To

define (’WPLANG’, en_EN);

also look at the template files in the templates folder, you may have to change things in those files from memory, I did all this so long ago.

i can recommended this wordpress version from novasmart. stable, fast and secure.
