I want some stuff that I dont think is in the start installation.

Which are the modules to use for...?

__Features:
# friendly urls
# picture reziseing
# captcha

__App's:
# Blog (w. user comments AND classifieds AND Taxonomy /Topics)
# Polls

For Blogs, there is a port of Wordpress. For polls, there is the default (old) XoopsPoll modiule.
You should find them with the help of the search of this site.
