Hi everybody!
I've been trying for hours to install a cbb forum.
I've installed XOOPS editor and added the frameworks dir to my XOOPS htdocs folder.
but the module doesn't work!
I get a blank page and I think It's because I didn't copy anything from the frameworks folder to the cbb folder.
what should I copy.

p.s.
I deleted the xoops22 folder from the frameworks dir.
I'm using the latest XOOPS version and latest cbb.

What's the actual version number of XOOPS you are using, the latest stable version is 2.0.16 <<< is this the one?

Ok I have exactly the same

Xoops version 2.0.16

CBB 3.08

You need to have the xoops22 folder in Frameworks

Well thats how I have it.

Upload xoops22 and see how you go

Cheers.....;o)

With XOOPS 2.0.16 and CBB 3.0x you need to have the following directory structure:

website_root/class/xoopseditor
website_root/Frameworks
website_root/modules/newbb

That should be three uploads (xoopseditor, Frameworks and the CBB module directory (called newbb)).

There is no need to copy anything from any of thiese uploads to another or to delete anything from them.

Anything other than the above is wrong

Thank you very much! I'm now the proud owner of a cbb forum!(:
The problem was a lack of info about cbb installation, so I thought I should delete the xoops22 folder, because there was one site that said so, and another one that said you should copy language files to somewhere... Now I've deleted it all and the forum works just fine. thank you very much!

I think it is a great idea. I am totally and completely agree with you. But there can be some aspects…
