New teams for xoops = same team for xoops.org ?

It seems to me that there is a confusion, "we" are mixing the xoops.org team(s) and the XOOPS (as a project) team(s).

Are they identical (and do they need) ?
https://xoops.org should be a local support site for English speakers no ?

Do the XOOPS team(s) must have all the permissions on this site ?

Don't you think that it will be a good idea if the XOOPS team(s) does not have the same power here and on the project ?

To be completely honest and open ... (and positive )

XOOPS teams here refer to "XOOPS Project teams", supervised by the XOOPS Project Council

Some, most, of the teams are homed on *.xoops.org except the core development team, which is homed on sourceforge.net

"here" refers to http://www.xoops.org which is currently the community support site. some teams have different level of "power" in "here", like the new "community coordination team" some just have "ranks" in "here", like the "core development team"

just my personal understanding.
official definition shall be made once the project council is established.

Thank you for the answer DJ.

I think, not sure if it's completely the right solution but ..., that the team in charge of managing this site (xoops.org), should be, as the advisory team, different from the other teams.

This drives us to a coordination team ...

I'd like to add support to InstantZero' post here.

I think that the blurring of lines between devs and community needs to be brought clearly into focus too. Meaning that the Devs might not necessarily have all that much need to become involved in the micro-managing of xoops.org

90% (at a guess) of the people who come to this site are webmasters. Many of them run successful community sites and, IMHO, might be better qualified to open xoops.org up to the community it tries to serve.
