Hello

i have a new website runing with XOOPS 2.15 and i have the protector Module but past week my host server have suspended my web site two times becose High load .. More than 4 Million hits in few Hours ..

my website is new so i'm sure i dont have the many users so its appear somone doing this to me each time the host server unsuspend my website ..

i have no idea what to do and my host server said they can do nothing either .


so plz help me

Have you been able to access protector log at all during this time?

Can/do your hosters make your server logs available? (have a look around your top directories via ftp).

yes, check your webstats out and see where all the hits are going..

if debaser is the culprit, then disable it.

check for any hidden scripts in the folders, especially templates_c & cache or uploads folders that could potentially be a downloader..
