I would like to create a group of users that have access to a module, it doesn't matter which module right now. It seems that you have to grant access to the module in the "Registered Users" group at a minimum to see the module in the main menu.

Removing access to the module via "Registered Users" denies a user access to a module even if they are in a "group" that says they do have access. Am I doing this wrong or is this really the way module/user permissions work. I can't get XOOPS to allow a "group" of registered users to see something that all other registered users shouldn't.

XoopsVersion 2.0.13.2
MySQLVersion 4.1.20
PHPVersion 4.3.11

Thanks

Re: Module access (Module showing in Main menu)

I could be barking up the wrong tree here but vaguely remember reaing something about having a user in more than one group causing a problem - so perhaps a search on users in more than one group will do the trick and find it. If I can remember more specifically what it was in reference to I will come back...but maybe this will trigger someone elses memory...
