I couldn't find a solution for this after several searches.

I just installed 2.2.3 and noticed the SPAW editor module, and I installed that.

I am using zmagazine for my main news/content module. But I cannot get the SPAW editor to work with it (No selection menu, just the standard XOOPS editor)

Whats the trick to getting SPAW, or any other wysiwyg editor working in all of the modules?

I tried editing the xoopseditor.php class file, as per other suggestions, but that did not work.

I am sure that in past XOOPS installations I have had SPAW and KOIVI working in zmagazine, but I cant get them to work in it now.

Any help? Please? None of the other articles or support forums posts really addressed this. Isnt there one of the xf-section type modules that includes SPAW with it?

Cheers

Hello there,

Strangely enough I have fixed zmagazine with spaw for my own use. I like the layout of zmagazine--the version in the XOOPS download has a few bugs which were rectified in the standard wfsection stable version later-I added the fixes. For example emails to webmaster after article submission have the article links stuck at article 1 etc etc

The thing is I had to add hard code to sort the linebreaks thing out, or the html appears with large unwanted spaces due to the XOOPS text sanitizor--so the spaw editor has to be used on the back and front end. If you use the XOOPS editor you will have no linebreaks appear in the text. Spaw is not compatible with Firefox for those who dont know.

If this is of any use to you let me know. I have a few things to clean up.

On my test site you can see the layout of some categories:

OK....half of my stupidity was not remembering that SPW etc do not work in Firefox, which I find disturbing.

NOW....this is probably more of that blindness....but HOW do you get the photos to appear in the summeries?

How do I get the photos to appear in the catagory summeries on the frontpage of zmagazine?

Cheers
