Hi!
I am trying to figure out how to turn the debug mode in the version 2.2.2 thorugh the file recovery.php as the tutorial mentioned, but I cant find it, can you please advise?

My case is that I had to reupload all my page and create the database again since the hosting where I had it hosted went down, and they reassigned an alternative server with the same configuration as the previous, but after my uploading and creating the database I simply get white page

Debug mode is located in Preferencs - System - General Settings, which I think is usually where recovery.php will take you. Sounds like you have more problems. Double check the path to XOOPS, and the database name and password. Once you have verified those are correct, then enable debug mode through the database. See this Faq Page for the methods.

All is OK now, the problem was the path, something that I id not check since the stupied hosting company said all the configuration was the same..a good lessoon not to trust anything but the facts
