read the documentation included in the package. there's some line you have to add into your theme.html

I looked at the install file .... forget it, either somebody takes the time to rewrite the file or most people will not even think about installing it.

I had it working on a site of mine, but messed it up somehow. I was meaning to fix soon and will post what I did to get it working. It was a bit tricky the first time around.

It works fine for me. I'm using I-stats on a couple of sites.

You do need to add the code to your theme footer, but that's a piece of cake and perfectly understandable too for a module that measures page visits.

have a look at the documentation and add the code to your theme.html file. That's all there is to it.

BTW: to get the dates storing correctly, make sure your server timezone is set correctly in XOOPS admin.

You can't actually see the i-stats code at the bottom of the page. It's invisible so it doesn't interfere with your site content.

I think it also is set to not record admin visits. I think you can unset that if you want.

Try visiting your site as a regular, anonymous user and see if the hits increase.

I have problems with Istats on some sites as well!
Could it be theme problem?

hey, i also have problems with i-stats.
it used to work until i upgraded from XOOPS version 2.0.7 to 2.2 or something like that

now it only counts when I log on as an administrator, however i really want to see the logins of the users. actually in a dreamworld, i would love it if it counts the users, but not me as an admin.

does anyone have a fix for this, or is the easiest thing to install another stats-counter?

PS: i've just found out that it counts also for my moderators, which makes me think that it might be a "permission-problem" but i can't seem to figure out where the problem is...
