How are the URL links to modules and news articles on this site (Xoops.org) written as follows at the bottom of browsers (bottom left in IE) :

Modules

'Shortcut to modulename'

instead of

'www.xoops.org/modules/news'

Articles

Like this :

?func=add&group_id=41586&atid=430842

instead of

http://www.xoops.org/modules/news/articleID......php

I don't understand your question, we don't have any url rewriter function on this site.

Aaaah...yes. I access the site using IE 5.5 at work (an old network). When I access it from a seperate machine that isn't on the confidential network the links do show as normal. I thought it was a hack you guys had applied but it's obviously one of the many secuirty bolts that our secuirty guys have applied perhaps.
