Best Blog community Modul or in Dev.

Hi,
we used to use weblog on our site. But then we had too many members (this was pre 1.41 about a year ago) and it got confusing so we stopped. But now we would like to try again.

Anyone have suggestions for a good Blog Module?
In particulary, one that handles multiple "bloggers"
in an organized and simple fashion.
If not
Are there any in Development?

Thanks all.

Be happy to contribute on one in whatever way we can.
