move XOOPS to a new URL

Hi there,

Do you know if it's possible to change the main XOOPS site URL? (i.e the one that appears in the browser address bar)

I installed XOOPS in a test/beta phase under http://www.hyogoajet.org/content

Now that it's tested and working, I'd like to move it to the root directory http://www.hyogoajet.org

Is it as simple as copying the files to the root directory and changing the XOOPS_URL in mainfile.php or are there other steps involved?

Hi,

Please consult the FAQ.
But basically, you need to modify the mainfile.php
