set startpage to 'none' in system admin -> general settings -> preferences page? And then configure the blocks you want to show on the homepage. Otherwise, there is no way to do this...

You can turn it off for no pages than make a new block say in this block you make a flash only make that block visable for the home page and for that page only but make a link so that can go to the main site I repeat make the LNIK!

I'm just getting going on xoops.........
Very cool.
I am a hard code guy just busting into the PHP world.

So, my 411 is:
I made two blocks to show up on the top page. Yes they show up but only to a registered viewer. When I use the block manager the new block do not show us when I select the unassigned or anonymous for the top-page.

I want these new custom block to show up on the top page and my intro.
I am missing a setting or something somewhere.
Can anyone help?

Re: starting page

Download and install the c-jay content module, it will allow you to create your own start web page and have it wrapped in the XOOPS portal
